Consulting Services

What We Do: Our services include hourly coaching, customized staff training programs, assessments and recommendations about your operating efficiencies, consultations about how to increase revenues or expand into new products, and strategic planning. We can also make referrals to outside venders or consultants, if necessary. We offer the following services to nonprofit organizations:

• Budgets and Business Plans - reviewing yours or building a new one.
• Efficiency and Income Audits - based on industry norms, we can assess your operations and offer suggestions.
• Redesigns and Re-launches - we often manage a team of editors, designers, circulation experts and any other necessary skills to get the job done well and affordably.
• Custom Training - onsite and tailored to your needs.
• Staffing and Vendors - reviewing contracts and compensation for freelancers, vendors and staff.
• Marketing Plans - recommending strategies for increasing visibility and impact of your publications.

We work with publishers in two different ways, either consulting by the hour, or by the project. Hourly consulting fees range from $100 to $300 plus expenses depending on which members of our team are involved. Projects are priced after we discuss your situation and prepare a detailed consulting proposal and budget. If you don't know what kind of help you need, contact us and we'll help you make a plan.
